Mid-Level Network Systems Engineer
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Mid-Level Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for our ongoing projects with our government clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems engineering, with a keen understanding of networking principles. You will play a key role in managing relationships and ensuring the success of our complex and innovative projects.
- Provide technical guidance and support in the development and deployment of system solutions.
- Analyze and evaluate system performance and recommend improvements.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, project management, and external stakeholders, to ensure project alignment with client needs and company goals.
- Manage and maintain project documentation and system specifications.
- Ensure compliance with government standards and regulations in all project aspects.
- Facilitate problem-solving and decision-making processes, addressing technical challenges and providing viable solutions.
- Participate in regular team meetings, contributing to strategic planning and project reviews.
- Minimum of five years of experience in systems engineering and network design/engineering
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. (preferred, or equivalent experience)
- Thorough understanding of systems engineering projects from conception to completion, including design, development, and implementation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively presenting information and responding to questions from groups of managers and clients
- Proven decision-making and multitasking abilities, with a track record of seeing projects through to completion.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- US Citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.

Senior IT Systems Administrator
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior IT Systems Administrator with over 10 years of experience in managing, optimizing, and securing IT infrastructures.
- Administer, maintain, and optimize server environments (Windows, Red Hat Linux, Ubuntu) to ensure high availability and performance.
- Implement and manage virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V) to improve resource utilization and achieve cost savings.
- Plan and execute comprehensive backup and disaster recovery strategies, including regular testing and documentation, to protect against data loss and minimize downtime.
- Monitor network infrastructure using tools like Nagios and SolarWinds to proactively identify and resolve issues, ensuring uninterrupted service delivery.
- Manage Active Directory, including user and group administration in a multi-factor authentication environment, group policy implementation, and security configuration to maintain a secure and organized directory structure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate technology needs, implement solutions, and promote best practices for continuous improvement.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring timely resolution to minimize impact on operations.
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, workstations, and network devices, prioritizing compatibility, security, and performance.
- Conduct system updates, patches, and upgrades to mitigate vulnerabilities and enhance system functionality, following change management protocols.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to facilitate to facilitate knowledge sharing and operational continuity.
- Assist in developing IT policies, procedures, and guidelines to establish standards and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Network configuration and management experience are desired but not necessary.
- Proven experience (10+ years) in IT systems administration, with a focus on server environment management, virtualization, and network infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows Server, Linux – Red Hat, Ubuntu), virtualization (VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V), and networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLAN).
- Expertise in Active Directory administration, including user and group management, group policy, and security settings.
- Experience with backup and recovery tools (Veeam Backup & Replication, Windows Server Backup) and monitoring tools (Nagios, SolarWinds).
- Familiarity with hardware setup and maintenance for servers, workstations, and network devices.
- Preferred Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, VMware Certified Professional (VCP), RHEL Advanced Certification.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
