Wesley Eddy is a distinguished expert in network architecture, space communications systems, satellite constellations, and Internet protocols. Armed with an MS in Computer Science from Ohio University, and decades of experience, he is at the forefront of creating and implementing innovative technology for networking within mission-critical systems. He has worked in many standards groups and other professional organizations, including serving as a working group chair and area director in the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF), as well as working within the Telecom Infra Project (TIP), Consultative Committee for Space Data Systems (CCSDS), IEEE, and other organizations. He has developed flight software, including for IP and Delay Tolerant Networking (DTN), and has authored many technical publications, including serving as the editor for the Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) specification in the IETF.
